Term Time Classes

Spiral Gymnastics Club offers a wide range of classes for all ages and abilities. Below is an overview of our term time classes currently available for new and budding gymnasts. Our term time classes are open to all gymnasts and we welcome new members at any point in the year. Please find below some essential information regarding membership and insurance fees, registration details and class certificates and awards.

Class Certificates and Awards:

We operate our own in-house achievement certificates. These are the Spiral Gems Achievement Certificates and cover a wide range of gymnastics skills as well as rewarding effort, listening and social skills within all the classes.

Registration and Fees Payment:

Fees for all our term time classes are payable in advance or during the first week of each new term. There is the option to pay the term fees in two payments, each due at the start of each half term. This will incur a £5 administration fee payable along with the first half term payment.

Our preferred method of payment is through bank transfer (bank details are available on request). We also accept cash payments on site.

All gymnasts (or their parents!) need to complete a registration form on joining which includes the gymnast’s personal details, parent/guardian contact details and any medical conditions or relevant information.

British Gymnastics Insurance and Spiral Gymnastics Club Membership is essential for all members and details are outlined below.

British Gymnastics Insurance and Spiral Gymnastics Club Membership:

All gymnasts joining the club need have British Gymnastics (BG) Insurance and Spiral Gymnastics Club Membership. British Gymnastics Insurance is due at the end of September and Spiral Gymnastics Club Membership is due at the beginning of September. They are also due to be paid by any member who starts at anytime throughout the year.

Spiral Gymnastics Club Membership includes Spiral Gems certificates, discounted entry to holiday camps/club events/birthday party bookings and their Regional Affiliation Fee. This payment is £20 on joining in September and is reduced for gymnasts joining later in the year.

Parents need to ensure their child has British Gymnastics insurance and this is completed directly through the British Gymnastics website. British Gymnastics is the National Governing Body for gymnastics in the UK. This provides insurance cover as well as discounts and other member benefits. If parents do not compete their child’s insurance online, they will not be able to take part in the class as they will not be insured.

To complete the process online British Gymnastics will ask you to enter some personal details to create a member account. You will also need to confirm the name of the gymnastics club “Spiral Gymnastics Club” and we are a “Women’s Artistic Gymnastics” club. There are three levels of cover; Pre-School, Gymnast or Competitive Gymnast. You will then need to pay British Gymnastics directly for the membership selected.
